Remove Fashola As Power Minister, Dino Melaye Advises Buhari

The Senator representing Kogi West at the Senate Otunba Dino Melaye has urged President Muhammadu Buhari to remove the Minister of Power Mr Babatunde Fashola as a minister in that ministry and make himself the Minister and constitute a task force to work under him.

Senator Melaye stated this via his Twitter handle @dino_Melaye. In the series of tweets he tweeted early on Saturday March 5th, he stated that Minister of Power cannot increase electricity tariff when the power situation has worsen in recent weeks and as such Mr Fashola cannot continue to run the Ministry any longer. He said it's absurd to increase electricity tariff and the decrease the the supply to t people .
He further stated that Nigerians must support and push Buhari to make a change in the Power sector adding that we must fix power by all means in Nigeria.
