Boko Haram Allegedly Captured, Beheaded Female Nigerian Soldier

It has been reported that the dreaded Boko Haram Terrorist group that has ravaged the North Easter part of Nigeria and even carried out several suicide and bomb attacks on some parts of Nigeria recently beheaded a female Nigerian Army officer cadet in Baga Borno state. Despite the group’s leader Abubakar Shekau released video circulated last week in the media that the group is ready to surrender and end their atrocities in Nigeria.
The slain officer was identified as Oluwatoyin Ogunleye. she was until her capture in Baga serving her fatherland in Borno state as an Army cadet. She was captured tortured and later allegedly beheaded by Boko Haram. Although there isn’t an official statement from the DHQ Nigeria Army  but her story was posted online yesterday that she was captured tortured and beheaded.

The boko haram has been under serious attack by the gallant Nigeria Army in the last couple of months and several of their members have been killed by the Nigeria Army and so many people held hostage released as the army dislodge them from the main occupied ground in Borno state in Sambisa forest.
The Nigeria Army has also warned Nigerians to disregard the video purportedly released by the Boko Haram in which the leader Abubakar Shekau was said to have announced that the they are ready to surrender and that the end of Boko Haram has come. In the circulated video, the video was made in a very poor quality as against the usual clean video normally posted by the group. Abubakar was shown in the video looking very weak and perturbed.

Denying the authenticity of the video the Directorate of Headquarters of the Nigeria Army said the video did not emanate from Boko Haram and Nigerians should be vigilant going about their normal duties as the army is working very hard to clear the remnants of the dreaded terrorist group whose command and stronghold has been dislodged and chased out of their base.
