Breaking!! Two Female Suicide Bombers Attacked Mosque In Borno Killing 22

No fewer than 22 worshipers lost their lives earlier today as two female suicide bombers attacked a Mosque at the early morning prayers today in Umarari a village near Maiduguri Borno state
Umarari village an outskirt of Maiduguri is about 5 km south of Maiduguri North East Nigeria where Boko Haram has been terrorizing people for over 5 years now. According to eye witness report the first female suicide bomber detonated the explosive device she carried inside the mosque while prayers was going on while the second detonated hers at the entrance of the Mosque when people we scampering to escape the scene of the first explosion.

An official of the Joint Task Force of the Military and  civilian Danbatta who coordinated the evacuation of victims at the scene said more than 26 other persons were seriously injured in the blast and are being taken to the hospital for treatment. Security forces and the DSS has been deployed to the scene of the blat to maintain law and order.

Recalled that the last blast which took place in Maiduguri in January killed about 50 persona at an Internally Displaced Persons camp in Dikwa village a town near Maiduguri Borno State. No group or persons has claimed responsibility for this latest terror act but it is believed that the dreaded Boko Haram group was responsible for the act.

President Muhammadu Buhari while speaking at an event last week Friday said the country has gotten rid of the terrorist group Boko Haram. He said they investors could now make the country their destination of for investing in Nigeria saying security issues has been properly tackled.
