Nigerians Suffering Under Change As Queue For Petrol Lingers

From Island to Mainland in Lag it's all same news as regards the fuel scarcity which is daily biting harder and Nigerians are suffering untold hardship in getting petrol for cars and Generators grows from bad to worse.
The situation was worsen in the last few days by the worsening electricity situation in the country and with the heat becoming so intense and unbearable t demand for petrol to power generating set at homes and offices becomes more misery for the people.
According to eye witness reports most filling stations in Lagos blatantly refused selling petrol into cans an kegs to avoid the selling to black marketers who goes on to sell the products at rates as high as N200-N500 per litre thereby the only way out o that for those who wants petrol for Generators is for them to physically dragged thier generator set to the filling station or get the tank of the generator removed from its component to get fuel.
This is appalling and strange at the same time to our society as various models and types of Generators are lined up to buy fuel at fuel station. This situation is getting worse by the day as no one knows when it will end and the Government of the day I blaming the scarcity on on or two days strike embarked up by NUPENG and PENGASSAN earlier in the week which was called off early this morning.
We don't need a soothsayer to tell us that things are really bad at the moment and the least we deserve as a people from the government is a proper apology and explanations as to why this is happening both at the Electricity distribution companies under the ministry of Power and the petroleum Ministry headed by the President himself. The Government needs to understand how bad things has gone and Nigerians are always at the receiving end of someone or somebody ineptitude at the helms of affairs. The Power, Housing and Works Minister in particular Mr Ba Babatunde Fashola needs to come out and explain why as at the morning of Thursday 10 March electricity distribution dropped to all time low of 1580MW in which the Minister promised us 6000 Megawatts by January this year. People need to take responsibility for failures and their actions s and in actions cause I untold hardships on th people.
