Famous Nigerian singer and songwriter Olumuyiwa Osinuga also known as
Mr NoMoreLoss, has died. The talented song writer and performing artiste
died today 21st March after battling with Typhoid. His manager confirmed
that the singer died today though the course of his death was not revealed by the artiste's manager when contacted.
Nomoreloss who was born in the late 70’s entered the Nigerian music scene in
2002 when he featured in Ruggedman’s classic hit song ‘Ehen‘. He
was formally a presenter on the music TV show ‘Groovoidz‘ in the late
90’s While making a name for himself as a gifted singer, Nomoreloss also shot
music videos for many Nigerian singers at the time.
He was reported to have been admitted at an unknown hospital in Opebi Lagos
about two weeks ago. He was also reported to have been discharged after getting
better but was readmitted when the late singer health took a downward turn he
died briefly after he was readmittedback at the hospital at the early hours of
today 21st March 2016
Nomoreloss wrote the biggest song for
the Kennis music star Jaywon’s titled ‘This Year.‘in the year 2012 In
2014 he dropped the album ‘Standing ‘, and ‘Then & Now‘ In
June 2015 he released the album ‘Grass to Grace‘. .His debut album was ‘Let Them Say‘
which he released in 2006 which featured the hit singles ‘Iyawo Asiko‘
and ‘Ololufe‘. His last major
stage performance was at the August edition of Afropolitan Vibes in Lagos in
2015
Nomoreloss was married to Rhythm 93.7 FM on air personalty Adeola Osinuga
popularly known as Phoenix in 2008 and their marriage is blessed with a
daughter, although there were rumours that Nomoreloss and Phoenix had
separated, the late singer denied this claim in an an interview he granted a
popular entertainment magazine.
