Terrorist Attacks On Brussels Airport And Metro Station Kill 23, Several Injured.

                                           
There was multiple coordinated terrorist attacks on Brussels the Belgium capital this morning as casualties from blasts from the Brussels Zaventem Airport's Departures Hall near the American Airlines terminals and a second attack which occurred about one hour afterwards at the Maelbeek Metro station near the headquarters of the European Union  building has risen to 23 and several others seriously injured.
15 persons were reported to have died in the Metro station and 7 seriously wounded, while the casualties at the two blasts at Zaventem Airport is put at 7 dead and several injured as at press time.


The entire Brussels city has been shut down by the Government of Belgium and Citizen advised to stay indoor for their safety after the two terrible explosions described as being very loud occurred very early in the morning at the departure lounge when passenger were boarding early morning flight at about 8.00 am local time.

In addition to the the city being on lock-down, authority has also shut down all transportation systems in the country following the terrorist attacks. According to eye witness at the airport they said they heard someone screaming in Arabic just before the two separate blast suggesting the attacks could have been a suicide attack.

The latest attack may not have been unconnected with the last week announcement of the capture of the mastermind of the Paris attack last November Saleh Abdeslam in Belgium. Intelligence Police and Security agents had been on alert and raid in some Brussels neighborhood since the attack in Paris which claimed over 100 lives.

The alert level in Belgium and other Europeans Countries has been raised to level 4 which means other countries are getting ready for any possible attack from the terrorist group which are believed to be connected to ISIS.
