Aftermath Of "Begging" Fayose, Bank Official Reassigned, Demoted

When the story of Zenith bank management officials begging Governor Ayo Fayose broke last week over the Governors personal account frozen by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) became public knowledge and the bank managements perceived reluctant in refuting the claim it was clear the bank must have actually asked its official to plead with Governor Fayose not to expose or end the state relationship with the bank. News broke yesterday that the officer who actually knelt down begging the governor who until yesterday was the branch manager of the bank’s branch in Ado Ekiti has been more or less demoted and transferred to another branch in Ogun state.

Court Strikes Out Suit On Buhari’s WAEC Certificate After Lawyer Withdraws Suit

A Federal High Court in Abuja has struck out the suit against  President Muhammadu Buhari  filed by an Abuja based lawyer Mr Nnamdi  Nkwocha –Ahaaiwe  challenging the president  failure to present his West African Examination Certificate to prove he sat for the examination in 1961 which the president sworn an oat of affidavit to have sat for and that the Certificate is with the Military in the form he filled with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) during the screening for the presidential nomination form in 2014.

Dubai Properties, Federal Government Defends Embattled Army Chief Buratai

The federal government has thrown its weight behind the embattled chief of army staff General Yusuf Tukur Buratai over the recent revelation of him owning choice properties in Dubai United Arab Emirates. The army chief was alleged to have acquired the multi million Naira properties when he was the Director of procurement of the Nigerian army in 2014.

I Am Yet To See The Effect Of Devaluation Of The Naira - Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed regret over the new Central Bank of Nigeria CBN amended new flexible foreign exchange policy announced two weeks ago by the CBN governor Mr Godwin Emefiele. The president maintained that devaluation of the Naira is not the solution to the dwindling economy Nigeria is currently facing noting that he could not be convinced that devaluing the Naira is the only what to address the current constant fall in the Naira against other foreign currency.

Court Remands Saraki, Ekweremadu 2 others in Kuje Prison Over Alleged Forgery

An Abuja federal high court earlier today remanded senate president Bukola Saraki and deputy senate president Ike Ekweremadu in prison for alleged forgery of senate standing rule which brought both Saraki and Ekweremadu in as Presdient and deputy of the 8th Assembly. Both were remanded in prison alongside two others defendants accused of forging the senate rule today 27th June 2016.

Buhari’s Chief of Army Staff Gen. Buratai Allegedly Owns Multi Million Naira Properties in Dubai

The Chief of Army Staff COAS General Tukur Buratai may have found himself in a very serious situation after a Sahara reporter’s investigation confirmed that the Chief Of Army Staff appointed by the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari shortly after he took over from former president Goodluck Jonathan in July 2015 is involved in a property purchase of about N120 million Naira paid for in a single transaction in his name and his two wives.

Zenith Bank Executive Director South West Led Team Of “Executive Beggers” To Beg Gov. Fayose

It was like a movie series as the accusations and counter accusation games of who sponsored Fayose’s Governorship election in 2014 grows thicker. The management of zenith bank categorically denied sponsoring Gov. Ayo Fayose election and even made damning allegations against Fayose that he was running helter-skelter to persuade the bank to perfect and hide all his shady monies transferred to his accounts in the build up to the elections and that the bank did not oblige which got him angry.

In what appears another twist to Constitution and legal interpretations to the latest development in the Fayose versus Economic and Financial crimes commission’s recent freezing of Ekiti state governor’s personal account with Zenith Bank Plc. According to the anti graft agency, the governors account was alleged to have enjoyed inflow from Office of the National Security Adviser ONSA to the former president Goodluck Jonathan, Col. Sambo Dsuki sometimes in 2014 in the build up to the Ekiti state gubernatorial election which was won by Ayodele Fayose.
