PDP Chieftain In Ekiti And Ex Fayose's Aide Defects To APC

A chieftain of The Peoples Democratic Party in Ekiti state Pastor Yemi Olayinka has defected to the opposition All Progressives Congress APC, describing Governor Ayodele Fayose as a dictator who rules the state the way he pleases.

Pastor Yemi Olayinka who was Governor Fayose's Special Assistant on Youth matters while announcing his defection from the PDP at his ward in Ado Ekiti described the governor as an authoritarian who controls the party's state working committee as well as the Legislative and Executive arms of the state Government.

He further stated that he loved PDP so well that he decided that come rain come sunshine he will never defect to APC but when Fayose came he hijacked every machinery of the state party and this led to founding members of the party to leave the party under Fayose's dictatorial style of leadership.

He also accused the Governor of deceiving the state electorate who voted during the June 2014 Governorship election in the state of being a changed person from his old self saying the people of the state has finally realised a leopard will never change its spot.
