One of the missing Chibok Nigerian Schoolgirls has been found and rescued carrying a baby and possibly pregnant with another. Reports say she is the first to be rescued since 279 Government Secondary School girls from Chibok in Borno State were abducted by dreaded Islamic terrorist group Boko Haram over 2 years ago.
The rescued girl was identified as Lamina Ali Nkeki, She was found by a member of the Civilian Joint Task Force (JTF), a vigilante group helping in the fight against Boko Haram and to rescue the abducted girls. Amina was found in the deep forest of Sambisa a border forest between Cameroon and Nigeria which was suspected to be the hideout of the dreaded group.
Chairman of Chibok community in Abuja, Mr Hosea Ababa Tsambido told reporters that Lamina was found by the vigilantes after venturing into the forest in search of firewood. Amina was reported to have said all the Chibok girls are still there in Sambisa forest except six of them that have already died leaving 212 girls still in the captive of the terrorist Islamic group Boko Haram.
Amina Nkeki came from Mbala, south of Chibok town where 25 of the abducted girls came from. An uncle of the rescued Amina , Yakubu Nkeki said Amina who was abducted when she was 17 and now 19 years and with a child apparently impregnated by members of the Boko Haram group. He said she has been reunited with her mother in Chibok temporarily before she will be moved to Maiduguri the Born state Capital for proper care psychological evaluated. Amina's father was said to have died while she was held captive by Boko Haram over a year ago.
