Army Insists Second Rescued Girl is One Of the Abducted Chibok school Girls

 The spokesman of the Nigeria Army Col Sani Usman has again reiterated that the second rescued girl serah Luka who was found in Sambisa on Thursday evening is indeed one of the abducted Chibok girls taken by the boko haram terrorist group over two years ago.

Despite claim by the president of the chibok parents association Mr Yakubu Nkeki and the Bring Back Our Girls Group who are in the fore front in making sure the girls were brought back safe and alive that the second girl’s name serah luka was not on the list of the abducted chibok school girls presented by the parents and the Army initially. Yakubu Nkeki who told reporters that the Army did not run a background check and failed to even contact the parents of the abducted girls to actually confirm the authenticity of the girls statements when she was debriefed by the army.

According to Mrs Oby Ezekwesili one of the founding members of the Bring Back Our Girls BBOG Group, the second girl from all information available to the group and parents Serah Luka was never on the list of the missing girls and her claim that she was in JSS1 and had only spent about two months and a week before the abduction took place at the Government Secondary School Chibok where they were kidnapped. Mrs. Ezekwesili also said since it was widely reported and confirmed that the girls were writing their West African School Examination Council WASCE when they were abducted made the rescued girl’s statement unfounded and untrue.

On his part Mr Yakubu Nkeki who spoke to newsmen confirmed that the second girl was not on the list which the parents presented and also, the found girl claim she was in JSS1 as at 2014 when the girls were abducted suggest that she might have been abducted by boko haram but obviously not among the school girls abducted at GSS Chibok. He described the Army action as misleading and unfounded the continued insistence that the girl is ine of the school girls. According to Mr Nkeki the claim that her name is on number 157 on the list is there for everyone to see as there is no such name on the list.
