Banker, Mother Of Two Allegedly Beaten To Death By Husband. (Photos)

It was a sad event at the Shonde's home as beautiful mother of two Mrs Ronke Bewaji Shonde  was allegedly beaten to death by her now on the run husband at the early hours of Friday May 6th at their home at Tiemo Crescent in Egbeda Lagos. Ronke a banker with one of the top new generation banks in Lagos and in her mid 30s was found dead by her nanny when she reported for work that morning.

According to family friend and source who affirmed that Ronke and her husband, had a fight in the early hours of yesterday Friday, while their kids were sleeping. One of their neighbours later corroborated the story that he heard disturbing noise coming from their flat very early in the morning of the fateful day but didn’t think it was something tragic going on at the Shonde's home.

At this time, the neighbours had also gathered and they forced the door opened to find Ronke’s lifeless body lying  on the floor in the pool of her blood apparently gushing from her head. The husband, Lekan Shonde, was nowhere to be found having ran out to evade arrest for killing his wife. The deceased phone was also reported to be missing. According to witness at the scene of the incidence, he had locked the kids with their dead mum in the house and took off with her phones.
According to close family friends, the late Ronke has been suffering from domestic violence in her husband’s hands for many years but refused to leave the marriage after so many advises and pleas to leave.
Her body has since been deposited at the mortuary. Investigation and search for the fugitive husband has also commenced by the Nigeria Police Force.
