Fulani Herdsmen Invade Falae Farm Again Kidnap And Killed His Security Guard.

The former secretary to the federal government of nigeria and a former presidential aspirant during the Ibrahim Babangida military regime Chief Olu Falae was again a victim of the deadly Fulani herdsmen in his farm in Akure ondo state where his security guard was kidnapped and killed.


Members of the terrorist group numbering about 10 invaded the farm of the ex SGF located in Ilado near Akure again kidnapped and later killed the security guard attached to the farm, who is a member of the local vigilante group, the Oodua Peoples Congress.
Five members of the Fulani terrorist herdsmen are currently on trial at the state High Court over the kidnap of Chief Olu Falae in October last year. The Ondo state government was alleged to have paid around N5m to pay the Fulani men as ransom to the kidnappers before the politician was released by his abductors.

According to reports, the 10 herds men stormed the farm located at Ilado in Akure North Local Government of the state and kidnapped the security guard. His corpse was later discovered some days ago inside a pool of water which is a short distance to the farm after the incident was reported to the Nigeria police who immediately 
launched a search team to rescue the kidnapped guard.

Residents of the village told reporters that the herdsmen invaded the farm last weekend and they were restricted by the security guards engaged by the politician following incessant invasion of the farm. The herds men, according to sources, left and the farm only to surface again and reportedly kidnapped one of the security guards on the farm whose body was found after a few days.

The activities of the herdsmen has become worrisome and issue of concern over the past months as they have been involved in various nefarious activities of kidnap and invasion of farmlands and villages killing and destroying lives and properties a major one was the invasion of Agatu Local Government in Benue state in March where they were alleged to have killed over 300 people including children and destroying the entire area in a genocide manner described as the worst singular attack in the country in over 2 decades by the United Nations (UN) envoy in Nigeria.
