Nigerias First lady Fights Dirty On Twitter Calls Fayose A Mad Dog

The first lady of Nigeria Mrs Aisha Muhammadu Buhari has taken to social media to attack the  Ekiti state governor’s claim that she was the same  Ms Aisha Buhari  involved in the Halliburton bribery scandal case which saw United state congress man William j. Jefferson convicted and sent to jail over bribery allegations.

Mrs. Aisha Muhammadu Buhari apparently got upset over the wrongful allegation by Ayo Fayose took to her twitter handle @aishambuhari and in an uncharacteristically manner called Governor Fayose a mad Dog that isn’t chained. In her words the first lady said “Enough is Enough Fayose.  A mad dog that isn’t chained. I refuse to keep quiet” Mrs. Aisha wrote on her twitter handle.

Although the Senior Special Assistant to the president on media and Publicity  Malam Garba Shehu hass earlier in a press release described Fayose’s action as not only childish but laughable noting that that the presidency has to in a matter of urgency and for the benefit of Nigerians who needs to know the truth about the Halliburton bribery scandal that Mrs Aisha Buhari was never the same Aisha Buhari involved in the bribery scandal and was never the one who initiated the 170,000 Us dollars transfer from Nigeria to the United States through Congress man William Jefferson some years back.

According to Garba Shehu , Mrs. Aisha M. Buhari had no direct, indirect or the remotest connection with the scandal. He challenged Mr Fayose to produce evidence from the records of investigation and trial of Mr. Jefferson where the first lady was mentioned and in any way linked to the scandal. He said the presidency chose to respond for the sake of innocent Nigerians who might be misled by Fayose’s shameless and blatant distortion of facts and so he will not be ignored to on the baseless allegation.

In a related development former Chairman of the Economic and Financial commission EFCC Mr. Ibrahim Lamorde said the first lady Mrs Aisha Muhammadu Buhari is not the same Aisha Buhari involved in the Bribery case of Haliburton involving Mr. Jefferson. Lamorde said he was the director of operations as at the time of the investigation and he worked closely with the American law agencies and department of justice on the case and he was certain and sure that the fingered aisha Buhari is not Mrs Aisha Buhari wife of president Muhammadu Buhari. He therefore urged Mr Ayo Fayose to get his facts right and stop pointing accusing fingers at the first lady Mrs Aisha Buhari.
